About this CPD:
This CPD provides an insight into how to put together a strong justification report for a client to have hydrotherapy at home. Using recent cases, the CPD covers different considerations including evidence of past benefits to the client and cost analysis, to help case managers build a justification report for their clients to have a home hydrotherapy pool. Attendees will also learn about the importance of specifying the right pool equipment for their client’s needs, and see examples of individuals who have benefitted from aquatic physiotherapy.

Designing Changing Places for Public Spaces
About this CPD:
This CPD provides an overview of what Changing Places are and their importance to people with disabilities across the UK, the latest regulations and building regulations that need to be considered and the specialist equipment that is required for a facility to be compliant.
It will also cover a review of the design and planning process, considerations needed for different venues, tips for creating a business case and assessing the option of installing a modular Changing Places facility. Example layouts and case studies of projects that Innova have completed will also be discussed, accompanied by a Q&As session towards the end of the event.
Applicable For: Primarily aimed at architects and contractors but also applicable to NHS trusts, local authorities, procurement managers and surveyors.

This CPD provides an overview of the understanding of the different types of patient hoisting systems, types of track layout, room coverage configurations depending upon the environment, and the installation and bearing requirements that need to be considered. It will also cover a review of the benefits that a patient hoisting system can offer as well as an insight into the largest hoist installation currently happening at Midland Metropolitan Hospital and some of the latest innovations that have been developed to overcome some of the real-life challenges.
