It was a pleasure and delight to work with Joseph from Innova on the equipment needs for our bedrooms as part of a £1million refurbishment of our Inpatient Unit at ACCORD Hospice.
We received great service at the planning, installation and initial after care stages.
Joseph listened and came up with suggestions and ideas to fit our budget, but more importantly the right quality of equipment for our patient and staff needs.
Our wish to refurbish our Inpatient Unit, making it a modern functional yet homely healthcare environment, has been achieved with the equipment from Innova complementing the building project.

Both the office team and the engineers who visit our sites are polite, helpful and understand the needs of our clients.
The engineers will take the time to explain what has been found and if needed, what further works are required.

The furniture from Innova brought a variety of modern, comfortable and versatile furniture with endless possibilities in terms of colour, design, height, width and shape. The choices we made, for our new Wellbeing Hub, were all about our patients’ wellbeing, comfort and safety.
The team at Innova were professional, timely and knowledgeable which made the whole experience both positive and rewarding.

I have worked with Almanzo for some years in sorting out new beds for my ward. We have narrow doorways and therefore are limited in the width of equipment and Innova was able to source me appropriate beds where other companies could not help. Corporate purchases are always lengthy but Almanzo kept me up to date with availability and delivery dates.
It was also good to be able to get our own branding put on the end of the bed. It was a professional detail that I appreciated.

Having been on the journey of planning a ward refurbishment since early in 2020 it is unbelievable that we are now starting building works to realise the vision.

I have personally found working with Innova and in particular Tony, Graham, Bob, Joe and also Jane the architect inspiring. I have found them to be professional, considerate, thoughtful and kind at all steps in a journey that, on occasion, has had its bumps.
At the initial meeting with Innova earlier in the year, ahead of deciding not to go out to tender they were asked if they would be considerate to the work of our business. I cannot fault them. They keep us abreast of any issues including noise ( inevitable during a refurbishment project) and are always mindful of how to mitigate issues.

St Christopher’s has been working with Innova, as the lead contractor for the refurbishment of our 32 bed in-patient unit. This is an important project for St Christopher’s so that we can address essential infrastructure issues on our inpatient unit, as well to improve the personalised care that we give for our patients. The work is all being delivered while keeping parts of our in-patient unit open at all times.

In working with Innova, I have found all members of the team to be professional and expert. The process to finalise scope and to deliver the programme has been genuinely collaborative, with a focus on how we deliver the best outcome for our patents and nurses with the budget available. I have also appreciated the consideration that Innova have shown to our staff, visitors, and patients so that we have been able to minimise disruption as much as practical. Thank you!

I have worked with the Innova team over the past couple of years during a 9 million pound refurbishment of our Hospice.

I have found them great to work with, always available when needed and very personal in their response.

Seamless process from start to finish. Initial email contact with Innova who provided me with contact details for the sales director Joe Hulbert for our area. Joe arranged a visit with the ward manager, ward sister and physiotherapists to discuss bed options best suited to our patients. A trial Interlude bed was arranged within 2 weeks and training on the bed provided on the day to porters, housekeepers, nurses and physiotherapists. Having trialled 2 other beds the Innova bed met the requirements easy manoeuvrability, suitable for standard ward patients and our bariatric patients, as well as our younger patients. A narrow bed option was available if required for ease in tight corridors, extension mattress platforms for our taller patients, bed controls built into the bed as well as the handset with the option nurse control only unit at the end of the bed.

Arrangements were made to replace all our hospital beds, excellent communication from the Innova team re scheduling delivery without disrupting the service we provide to our patients. Joe returned to the hospital to provide additional training on the delivery day in order to educate nurses, physiotherapists, porters, housekeepers and ODPs. Further training will be arranged 2 weeks post delivery to ensure any user errors are clarified and update staff who missed previous training. I have no hesitation in recommending Innova to other healthcare providers.

Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust is pleased to have partnered with Innova Care Concepts for supply and installation of the ceiling track hoists in our new-build Midland Metropolitan University Hospital. The package consists of 353 hoists which will be installed throughout the hospital with a combination of single rooms and 4/6 bed bays. The hospital requires a number of different track layouts so we’re installing a variety of hoist units including the AirRise200 with 200kg safe working load and a number of dual hoists enabling patients of up to 500kgs to be catered for. Before choosing to partner with Innova we did some extensive research into the different options available in the market and found Innova’s proposal provided us a perfect solution to our requirements. In particular, we liked their unique system that enables one hoist to be used in the multi-bed bays in combination with curtain tracks and that all of their hoists have an advanced battery protection system which prevents downtime due to insufficient charge. Innova were willing to listen to our requirements and take the time to come up with a solution. They have proved themselves to be very trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Innova to all hospitals looking for a hoist provider and encourage you to engage with them early on in the process so they can come up with a solution to your needs.
