Ceiling Hoist Systems

Ceiling hoists and overhead hoist systems give you a safe, quick way to transfer and move people around from room to room. Our AirRise and Airglide360 ceiling lift systems work perfectly together to provide cutting-edge technology to making patient handling as easy and straightforward as possible.

AirGlide360 Ceiling Hoist Tracking

Just as a train relies on tracks for its smooth journey, a hoist unit depends on tracking to glide along seamlessly. Our Airglide360 track system is one of the most discreet and tidy tracking solutions you can find.

What sets our Airglide360 tracking apart is its unique ability to be seamlessly integrated into the ceiling, eliminating the need to hang below. This design not only maintains a non-clinical aesthetic but also enhances infection control measures.

The Airglide360 tracking rail system is versatile and can be employed in X-Y systems, also known as H-frames, providing comprehensive room coverage.

Available in two different sizes, our Airglide360 tracking is expertly shaped to offer the smoothest and quietest ride while ensuring optimal control when navigating corners. With a tight radius of just 480mm, our curved sections come in 15, 30, 45, 60, and 90-degree models, tailored to your layout.

While our standard rail comes in white, we are more than happy to accommodate custom colour requests. Feel free to reach out to us if you desire a different colour option.

Hoist Gates & Transit Couplings

Hoist Gate

In any hoist setup involving transitions between layouts and rooms, a gate system is an essential component connecting the corresponding rails. Our innovative Airglide360 Transit Coupling employs a clever blend of magnets and sensors to ensure a secure connection when moving between systems.

To engage the Transit Coupling, simply guide the track to the desired position, and it will lock in place seamlessly through the magnetic mechanism. Sensors play a crucial role by detecting your movement through the coupling, automatically unlocking it as you transfer to the other system.

This intelligent system simplifies the process of moving patients and clients between different rooms and tracks, prioritizing their safety and preserving their dignity.

For more intricate overhead track configurations, consider the use of turntables and track switches to accommodate various routes.

Turntables offer automatic rotation within the track layout, allowing for effortless switches between systems. You can opt for three or four outlet options to optimize your system’s functionality.

Track switches, as the name implies, facilitate seamless transitions between different systems or routes. The entire process is automated, ensuring that your undivided attention remains on the person under your care.

Wall Mounted Hoist Systems

If you find yourself in a situation where accessing the ceiling is not feasible or your ceiling joists lack the capacity to support a hoist system’s weight, our wall-mounted solution may be your best alternative!

This system is affixed to the wall via sturdy wall brackets, featuring flat metal plates with protruding sections to securely attach the rails.

One of the standout advantages of wall-mounted systems is their remarkably quicker installation process. Unlike ceiling-mounted tracks that necessitate cutting or drilling through the ceiling for installation, wall-mounted systems entail attaching brackets to the wall, onto which the rails are easily slotted. This streamlined installation typically takes only half the time required for a ceiling-mounted system.

Furthermore, wall-mounted systems excel in rooms with high ceilings or limited floor space, making them a versatile choice for various environments.

AirRise Hoist Units

Any ceiling lift systems will need a hoist unit; and our AirRise range are some of the best ones on the market. With built-in quiet, smooth-rolling twin trolleys, our AirRise units can handle any turns or corners with ease and comfort.

The AirRise range also features soft-start and soft-stop technology, meaning that patients and users won’t have to worry about any jerky or unsettling movements. These units are also fitted with Battery Protection Software, which helps keep batteries in prime condition long term and even tells you when they need charging!

Our AirRise units are available in different models and weight limits. The number on the end reflects the number of kilograms that unit can lift.

Choose between the following:

If you need extra help when moving bariatric patients, there is also the option to include an electric traverse trolley in your hoist unit that will help you to move the unit left and right when there is weight on it. The motor then automatically switches off when there is no weight on the unit so you can freewheel it back to the desired position.

You can also choose between a 2-point loop spreader bar, 4-point clip-fixing manual spreader bar, and an AirRise Electric 4-Point Spreader Bar to attach to your unit.

Hoist Unit Charging

To make it even easier for people to use, we’ve made it so you can charge your AirRise unit whenever you put the handset in its docking station. This makes it easier than ever to keep your hoist unit powered and ready for whenever it’s needed.

Alternatively, AirRise units can be charged through the track itself if preferred. Simply move the unit under the charging contact, and magnets will lock it into place to charge.

Our clients are given the option of an Innova servicing contract with all AirRise units, keeping them covered for any possible issues. Our servicing and maintenance department can assist with LOLER testing as well as any other necessary annual check-ups.
