Having been on the journey of planning a ward refurbishment since early in 2020 it is unbelievable that we are now starting building works to realise the vision. I have personally found working with Innova and in particular Tony, Graham, Bob, Joe and also Jane the architect inspiring. I have found them to be professional, considerate, thoughtful and kind at all steps in a journey that, on occasion, has had its bumps. At the initial meeting with Innova earlier in the year, ahead of deciding not to go out to tender they were asked if they would be considerate to the work of our business. I cannot fault them. They keep us abreast of any issues including noise ( inevitable during a refurbishment project) and are always mindful of how to mitigate issues. They are pleasant people who care about their work, the impact of their work and the effect on our patients. Thank you

I have worked with Innova on two separate projects, East Riding Leisure Centre which was a £22m project and Hull Venue was a £37m music and conference complex. Both very different buildings but both must meet the requirement needs for access to everyone. The Leisure centre’s main concern was slip resistance all round due to the wet change and pool areas, (including the close by steam room, sauna and jacuzzi). The changing places installed at Bridlington had a very amenable and comfy nursing bench. It had all the functions required to suit wheel chair access and assisted living. Hull Venue was not as suave due to the budget but still offered the same range of facilities and was completely functional. We actually had an issue where the client upon inspection pulled that our M&E contractor had not made one of the fuse switches accessible for the all singing-all-dancing toilet facility but Bob Oliver, Snr Contracts Manager, was more than happy to assist during the demonstration in order to get the room working and went beyond expectations to keep our client happy. Most sub-contractors would have said well I will come back tomorrow and charge you for wasting my time as I cannot complete the full demo, but Innova proactively helped and completed the demonstration that day. Both changing places had minimal snags and were mainly M&E or ceiling tile replacements etc. Since handing over Bridlington I have had no phone calls from my previous CoW or the end users to complain about the changing places. Would recommend to all.
