The Permobil M5 Corpus Powerchair has a driving experience that is market leading in terms of comfort and performance. It follows the users natural body movement which means they can sit for longer, have bigger reach and travel longer distances. The Permobil M5 has a top speed of 12 km/h, with a range of 40km.
The Permobil M5 has agile suspension on all of its wheels and sets a new standard for mid-wheel drive powerchairs, providing comfort and stability on slopes and uneven ground. The excellent stability means users can drive the powerchair while they are elevated and with full suspension functionality. This also creates smooth and comfortable movement over obstacles and uneven ground to help travel with ease indoors and outdoors. Also by reducing the impact of vibrations on the body, users will feel less tired and less pain.
The M5 has an Active Reach feature that combines seat elevation of up to 35cm additional seat height as well as up to 50° of forward tilt, so that users can get closer and get into positions to make sure their freedom and independence is always granted.
This allows users to elevate to eye level for better conversations and reduces the need to look up all the time, helping to reduce pain in the neck and shoulders.
Another feature is the latest joystick module that has built-in bluetooth and Infra-red.

The seat can be rotated 180°, making mounting and dismounting easy.
