Santhem Residences

Created by Savista Developments, Santhem Residences is a purpose-built premium retirement village in Shenfield, Essex.

Due to open in early 2022, the exclusive retirement village features 55, one and two-bedroom luxury apartments.

Equipped with a wealth of 5-star services and facilities, the village includes a café, restaurant and bar, a state-of-the-art cinema and a gym with a range of classes tailored to over 65’s.

As Savista Development’s first project in the retirement living market, Santhem Residences were looking to create a couple of show apartments in their ‘Information Suite’, helping potential homeowners to get a feel for the properties that will be available.

Using their extensive experience working within the care home sector, Innova were on hand to ensure this objective was completed.

Sourcing and installing a range of bespoke beds, cabinets, tables and chairs, Innova helped Santhem Residences furnish two show apartments to represent how the village combines state-of-the-art in-apartment technology, with a warm and family-friendly environment.

The Challenge

Savista Developments are an award-winning construction company and property developer, specialising in later living care homes and retirement communities, as well as standard residential apartment projects.

With a passion for delivering luxurious and innovative environments with first-class service, Savista are meticulous in everything they do.

As specialists in design and build, they thoughtfully plan the sites they acquire to ensure longevity in both construction and technology, adding value from the outset.

Making the bold move into the assisted living sector, they created a new brand called Santhem Residences.

Their goal for the brand was to create an environment that embraced individuality, with every apartment, lounge and garden designed around their residents’ likes, needs and characteristics.

Ahead of the village’s launch for 2022, Santhem wanted to have a ‘Information Suite’, featuring a number of show apartments that would allow potential homeowners to come and visit the facilities and experience what they have to offer.

In order for these show apartments to reflect the high-end facilities available, they needed furnishing with different types of loose furniture.

Having worked with a wide variety of care homes and care home groups, Innova were able to offer their services, providing bespoke furniture that would match the luxury feel that Santhem Residences required.

Innova’s Solution

Through a series of meetings, Innova’s Projects Team worked with Santhem Residences to design, source and supply an extensive variety of loose furniture, ensuring that every item of furniture maximised space and comfort at every turn.

Whether it was a TV cabinet, dressing table, dining chair or bed, Innova sourced and carefully designed furniture that was tailor-made, making sure each product provided a premium feel and matched the décor of the room.

Not only was each item carefully selected to meet their residents needs, the order was also processed and delivered on time, enabling Santhem Residences to open their show apartments on schedule.
