Innova lands another Spire Healthcare order worth £75,000

Innova Care Concepts is delighted to announce that we have confirmed yet another Spire Healthcare Group order for our hospital beds. This one is our largest order from Spire to date and is worth £75,000.

We were recently included in the Spire Healthcare suppliers list as a trusted distributor of hospital equipment (and we’ve supplied about 80 beds to them so far). Spire London East Hospital then got in touch with to say they were needing some new beds for various patients throughout their premises.

They needed to trial the beds and make sure they would provide the right level of comfort and support and would fit through the narrow hospital corridors.

The hospital needed beds for three different areas; a children’s ward, a standard ward, and a bariatric ward. We managed to come up with the perfect solution for the paediatrics ward and supplied a smaller, narrow version of our Interlude Newcare V2 hospital bed which is proving very popular with other private hospitals.

Our Sales Director, Joe Hulbert, said:

“Our work with Spire Healthcare Group is just one way that we’re expanding within hospitals across the country. We’ve supplied about 80 beds to them so far and they’ve given us some great feedback from both their staff and their patients.

“This deal is certainly a bookmark moment for Innova as we continue to strive to become the UK’s most sought-after brand in the healthcare sector by 2020.”

We delivered a total of 26 Interlude Newcare V3 beds for the standard wards, five Interlude Newcare V2 narrow beds for the children’s ward, and one Interlude Platinum in a wider model for the bariatric ward.

Innova’s expansion into the private hospital market follows our recent work with NHS hospitals in England, Scotland, and Wales.

Tom Hulbert, Innova’s Managing Director, said:

“We’ve supplied so many things to Spire hospitals now, it’s hard to keep track of how much and where it’s gone to! We’re also becoming a key equipment provider to NHS hospitals, which just goes to show how important it is for the healthcare system to invest in high-quality equipment if they want to provide high-quality care.”

Spire was also keen to work with us because we could supply our beds with their logos on them.

As a member of the Spire Healthcare Group, the hospital wanted the foot ends of the beds to have their colours and branding on them. Our team came up with a design that can be customised to any Spire hospital throughout the UK.

We’re also working with Nuffield Health on its hospitals and equipment. We’re happy to be expanding so rapidly within the private hospital market, and we look forward to continuing to work with Spire Healthcare hospitals all around the country.
